Description:	Atonement offers a variety of worship options: A traditional festival service using the new ELW (Evangelical Lutheran Worship) resource is offered on Sunday at 8:45a.m. (Sunday School is available during this service. Atonement uses a rotation model Sunday School which allows children to explore Biblical Stories using a variety of and interesting activities. Atonement's Sunday School is available for children from 3 years of age through the 6th grade. There is no Sunday School during the summer months. We also offer a worship service at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. This service uses the Chicago Folk Service on the first Sunday of each month. On other Sundays we use the With One Voice worship resource. Vespers is a small intimate service offered on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Taize is a quiet contemplative service held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of every other month. Taize, a gift from the ecumenical contemplative community in Taize, France uses icons to focus prayer and repeated chants to allow the mind to quiet and make room for God's Spirit to speak.
